  3. This indicates when the file list was downloaded.  To refresh the file list (to display any changes that may have been made) choose ‚ÄúRefresh File List‚Äù from the Directories menu.

  5. Drag this icon to a bookmark list window or the Finder to create a bookmark for the current directory.

  7. Note: requires System 7.5 or newer.

  9. Click on a column title to sort the file list by that attribute.  The current sort criterion is underlined.

  11. Directory pop-up.

  13. This displays the name of the current directory.  Click here to choose a new current directory from a pop-up menu of this directory‚Äôs ancestors.

  15. Press this button to set Binary mode.  In Binary mode Fetch will treat all files as binary files, no matter what their file name is.  This is the right mode if you know you are downloading a binary file but Fetch does not recognize it as such.

  17. Press this button to set Text mode.  In Text mode Fetch will treat all files as text files, no matter what their file name is.  This is the right mode if you know you are downloading a text file but its name makes it appear to be a binary file.

  19. Press this button to set Automatic mode.  In Automatic mode Fetch will try to determine whether a file is text, BinHex, or binary by examining its file name, using the Suffix Mapping list.

  21. Press this button to download the selected file or files.  If the Option key is pressed or no files are selected you will be prompted to type the name or URL of the file to download.

  23. Press this button to upload a file to the current directory.  Hold down the Option key to upload multiple files and/or folders.

  25. Press this button to cancel the current operation.  Canceling does not work with all hosts, due to network compatibility problems.

  29. Press this button to open a new connection.

  33. Click on a name to select it; hold down Command and click to select additional names.  Double-click to open a folder or download a file.
